About Us

Hearts to be Healed is a non-profit organization that provides support and resources for caregivers. A caregiver can be a trained professional, a friend, or a family member who helps with a patient’s daily needs. Almost everyone will become a caregiver at some point in their life. Caregivers often go overlooked and face high rates of burnout while providing support to those in need. So who takes care of the caregivers? That’s where Hearts to be Healed comes in.

We work directly with caregivers to create networks that help, support, relieve, and educate those who aid their families and friends during times of need.

The story behind Hearts to be healed

Our founder Hector and his wife Dina owned a ranch together where they loved to spend their days, enjoying the beauty of nature and each other’s company. Dina dedicated herself to working with autistic children, making a positive impact on their lives. Together, they raised their three children in a close-knit and loving environment.

When Dina fell ill, Hector’s loving and supportive nature shone through – he became her caregiver and dedicated himself to standing by her every step of the way. After she passed away, Hector felt compelled to found a non-profit organization in her honor. The foundation’s main goal is to raise awareness about the challenges that caregivers face, and to provide these unsung heroes with the support they need to continue their important work.
